Who is the controller of your data

The controller is Josef Novák, trading as Limousine Mercedes, registered at Pod Třebešínem 3064/5, Strašnice, 100 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic, company ID 66682011, VAT ID CZ7510172461. We provide chauffeur-driven passenger transport in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

For anything concerning personal data, write to info@limousine-mercedes.cz or call +420 608 94 94 46. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require us to.

What data we process and why

We only process data you give us yourself, namely:

Enquiry form

Name, company, e-mail, phone, pick-up location, destination, date, time, vehicle type, number of passengers and your message. We need this to reply and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

E-mail and phone correspondence

Contact details and the content of messages you exchange with us. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Confirmed bookings

Billing and identification data required to provide the service and issue a tax document. The legal basis is performance of a contract and compliance with accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

Offers by e-mail (optional)

If you tick the separate box in the enquiry form, we store your name and e-mail in our address book and may occasionally send you information about our services. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message or by e-mail. Without ticking that box we send you nothing.

Technical cookies

This website uses only the essential technical cookies it needs to work. We use no analytics, marketing or profiling tools and pass no data to advertising systems. Under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. this use does not require your consent.

How long we keep your data

Data from an enquiry that did not lead to a booking is kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last communication, then deleted.

Data relating to a completed journey is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the period required by law — for tax documents typically 10 years from the end of the tax period.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing. Only processors providing services essential to our operation have access:

Website hosting

Vercel Inc. — running and delivering the website.

E-mail service

Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — technical delivery of enquiry-form messages to our inbox.

Accountants and tax advisers

Processing accounting records relating to the service provided.

Contracted chauffeurs and partners

Only the data needed for a specific journey (name, phone, pick-up place and time).

Some of these processors may store data on servers outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How we protect your data

The website runs exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiries are accessible only to the limited group of people who need them to handle your request. Our chauffeurs are bound by confidentiality — discretion is the foundation of our service.

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data you have the right:

to know what data we process about you and to obtain a copy.

to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed.

to erasure

to have your data deleted where we no longer have grounds to process it.

to restriction

to have us temporarily stop working with your data.

to portability

to receive your data in a machine-readable format or have it sent to another controller.

to object

to processing based on our legitimate interest.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our services or the tools we use change. The current version is always available on this page and the date of the last update appears at the top.
